    Applies To
    Product(s): AutoPIPE
    Version(s): ALL;
    Area: Reporting
    Date Logged
    & Current Version

    Problem:

When importing a PCF file into AutoPIPE the following was displayed:

    ---------------------------
    PCFin
    ---------------------------
    The parameter is incorrect
    ---------------------------
    OK
    ---------------------------

    Why?

    Solution:

The problem is with the PCFin.map file (788230).

    Avoidance:

    1. Reset your PCF translator preference settings.

    2. Close the PCF translator

    3. Reopen the PCF translator and try to import the model into AutoPIPE

    Does the same message appear?

If no, Done!!! how easy was that.

If yes, perform the following steps.

    a. With the PCF translator open, highlight and copy the file path of MAP file:

    Example: AutoPIPE 12.07.00.346

    C:\ Users\ username\ AppData\ Roaming\ Bentley\ PCF Translator\

    b. Then select the ... button at the end of the MapFile line to open Windows' file Explorer:

    c. Navigate to the folder location mention above.

    d. Next open a 2nd Windows' file Explorer window and navigate to the folder location of AutoPIPE.exe.

    Example: AutoPIPE 12.07.00.346

    C:\ Program Files (x86)\ Bentley\ AutoPIPE CONNECT v12

    e. Locate the same file in this folder, i.e. PCFin.MAP

    f. Manually Copy file from the 2nd location to overwrite the file in the 1st location.

    g. Restart the PCF translator and try to import the model again.
