When trying to create a Stress isometric in AutoPIPE the following message appears:
"OpenPlantIsometricManager stopped working"
Why and how to avoid this?
There can be any number of reasons why this issue would appear. Review each of the following scenarios to determine if one or more may apply:
While working with AutoPIPE and with OPIM v.10.10.00.71, during iso generation with specific direction, say pipe traveling in Y direction leads to crash.
Steps to Reproduce -
1. Using AutoPIPE 12.08.00.063 with OPIM 10.10.00.71
2. Open model
3. Notice Vertical axis direction assigned as Y axis. See below image
4. Click on Icon shown below as save stress isometric
5. Generate Stress iso for entire model. Notice it generates correct iso.
6. Now change the Vertical axis direction from Y to Z from 'General Model Options'.
7. Repeat step 4 above and notice iso generation crashes.
And notice that the Message appears
Workaround Proposed -
Advised user to downgrade OPIM version 10.09.01.06 which works fine with user. This will be fixed in a future version of the program (902694-934332).
