The following is displayed when using AutoPIPE:
---------------------------Error--------------------------- E39-27: Zero length not permitted ---------------------------OK---------------------------
How to avoid it?
As mentioned on the dialog, one cannot enter nothing or Zero. The user must enter a value higher than 0.00 in order to avoid this message from appearing.
However there is a known issue (644047) with AutoPIPE 12.08.01.010 when entering a flexible joint, this message will appear even though a valid value has been entered. This only occurs if the flexible joint is the first component in a segment. There are a number of avoidances that can be used.
1. Insert short run before Flexible joint so that it is not the 1st component. 2. Inspect / Modify the Flexible joint by editing the Input grids
or 2. model the flexible joint as a pipe for now, build the segment as needed. User Reverse Segment(s) (Home > Operations > Segments > Reverse Segment(s)) command and then inert the Flexible joint.
etc...
This will be fixed in a future version of the program.
