    12. Print reports with designated page breaks using AutoPIPE

    Applies To
    Product(s): AutoPIPE
    Version(s): ALL;
    Area: Reports
    Date Logged
    & Current Version
    Dec 2022
    12.08.03.015

    Problem:

    Hope to insert page breaks as the user wants.

    Example, output about points from A00 to A05 on the first page, and from A06 to A10 on the second page.

    Solution:

    Unfortunately at this time, Dec 2022, AutoPIPE reports are automatically generated with few to no user formatting options.

    Workaround:

    1. AutoPIPE has a feature where the user can control the number of lines per page, printer fonts, and orientation of the page for Quick Reports. See Tools > Tools > Settings > Printer command.

    This provides a way to set the font used for printing, set the number of lines on a page, and open the Print Setup dialog. The font and printer setup buttons display standard Windows dialogs which allows you to select the font, to select any of the printers currently configured to run in Windows, to set the page orientation, and to specify the paper size in use.

    This command does not affect the Word reports.

    2. Word reports

    Generate the word reports and then manually enter page breaks as needed.
