Problem:
The user double-clicked the AP Nozzle icon but does not respond at all. No error message and no process in task manager. Recently, he cannot launch it suddenly. The AutoPIPE version is v12.00. User tried to below procedure;
1. Reinstall v12.00
2. Upgrade it to v12.04 and v12.08
The OS is Windows 10 20H2.
Solution:
This issue was resolved by the user side. They set the Exploit Protection Setting for AutoPIPE Nozzle exe file.
1. Go Windows Security > App & Browser Control > Exploit Protection Settings
2. Add apnozzle.exe without any customized settings
(Actually, they set only the "Data Execution Prevention(DEP))
It seems Windows Defender prevented the execution of the AutoPIPE Nozzle without a warning message.
