Answer:
When reviewing AutoPIPE's results there may be some information / values that look out of place or have no logic to their magnitude given the piping arrangement, support system, loading conditions, or system settings. Thus causing one to struggle in understanding why.
At junctures such as these, best to consider the following:
1. Results interpretation:
Please see the following AutoPIPE help section:
Help ribbon> Contents button> Contents Tab> Reference Information> Results Interpretation and take the time to read each document completely
2. Appears to be working correctly
Technical support will take the time to provide a fresh look and add comments on a model sent for review. We will spot check for obvious modeling issues and system settings. Typically our first step during this review process it to round trip the model to see if there are any huge differences between before and after that may indicate a corrupted model. Technical support cannot be expected to look at every node point in the model and evaluate every code / no-code combination to hand calculation. If interested in this type of in-depth review, see instructions here for challenging AutoPIPE's calculations.
After the review process, support will send a response indicating our concerns or to let you know that it would appear that AutoPIPE is working correctly.
