    Q. Intel(r) Visual Fortran Run-time Error - forrtl: severe (408): fort: (11): Subscript #1 of the array DN80 has value 0 which is less than the lower bound of 1.

    Problem:

When user try to run a model with a half pipe coil on the cylindrical shell in ASME VIII Div.1, the calculation is interrupted by an error.

forrtl: severe (408): fort: (11): Subscript #1 of the array DN80 has value 0 which is less than the lower bound of 1.

Why does this happen and how to avoid?

    Solution:

When we design half pipe coil on the cylindrical shell as per ASME VIII Div.1, Non Mandatory Appendix EE, Figure EE-2 gives curves only for shell thicknesses above 5mm. Refer below image.

If user enters shell thickness below 5mm, software gives an error. This is a bug and we are working on this issue.

As a workaround use shell thickness 5mm or above to avoid the error.
