Problem:
How to add a multiple saddle in horizontal pressure vessel?
Example:
Open Nozzle dialog, and press Edit Flange button.
Notice the flange rating in greyed out area is set to 150 and field to the right is blank.
Close dialog, and review word report for this same nozzle opening.
Why the difference
Solution:
Per the example mentioned above, this particular version of the program, 43.01.01.011, the temperature is not initialized correctly in the GUI, that's why the rating shown in the program is different than that shown in the report. Again, the correct rating is as mentioned in the report, 300# for that flange with its current settings / loading conditions.
This has been logged, 1245454 GUI: Flange rating do not match input flange rating, and will be fixed in the next release of the program, scheduled Oct 2023.
