Problem:
Why AutoPIPE Vessel crashes when making modifications to the component's material by right clicking on it?
Steps to repeat:
Right click the model screen and select “change material”
Select a product but prodia2 for windows opened and AutoPIPE Vessel stop running – refer to capture2
Wait just a moment and the application crashes.
Solution:
As of Aug 2023, this is a known issue (1077619) that will be fixed and released in the next version of the program baring any testing issues.
If you encounter this issue, please log a new case and site this WIKI page. You will be added to a list of people that will be notified once this fix is released.
Avoidance:
Do not use right click menu to make material modifications. Instead double select the component in the list view or 2 drawing view, a dialog will appear, select the Material tab, and make material changes as needed.
