&lt;p&gt;While using Aveva E3D PSI, export a XML file (reference Aveva Help for details on exporting this file). Next open AutoPIPE and select E3D PSI(*.xml) import command (File &amp;gt; Import/Export &amp;gt; Import &amp;gt; E3D PSI(*.xml)). The application will display an Open dialog, search for the XML file to be opened, press Open button, process through any any additional dialogs as needed, and in a moment the model should be displayed in AutoPIPE.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="padding-left:90px;"&gt;There can be any number of reasons why a model cannot be imported. Here is a list of known issues&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:120px;"&gt;&lt;span style="text-decoration:underline;"&gt;i. Bad file from E3D&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;As of September 2023 an E3D PSI file was sent with the following problems. (open the XML file in any word editor and review).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;Suggest to contact E3D PSI technical support to address issues with creating a bad exported XML file.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;1. &amp;lt;Temperature1&amp;gt;-100000&amp;lt;/Temperature1&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Comment:&amp;nbsp;no temperature should be set to this value&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;2. &amp;lt;NodeNumber&amp;gt;-1&amp;lt;/NodeNumber&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Comment: Node numbers cannot have a -ve value.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;3. &amp;lt;ComponentType&amp;gt;BRAN&amp;lt;/ComponentType&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Comment: AutoPIPE does not have a BRAN component and thus the component cannot be imported&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;4. &amp;lt;OutsideDiameter&amp;gt;2.36220472440945&amp;lt;/OutsideDiameter&amp;gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Comment: no standard pipe size with this exact size&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p style="padding-left:150px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; Comment: this is an error that must be fixed before importing.&lt;/p&gt;
