Problem:
How to modify one or multiple items material properties using AutoPIPE?
Notice, the Pipe Properties Color map has only 1 color.
Solution:
In this example, the 2 valves will be modified to have a different material .
1. Insert a new material Pipe property
2. Next, select the portion of the model (ex. 2 valves) to where the material properties will change
3. Finally, use AutoPIPE's Command "Pipe Properties Over Range (Modify > Properties > Pipe Properties Over Range)"
Results:
After using the steps above the 2 valves were updated with a new material different from the connected pipe.
Optional method, after adding the new pipe properties in to the model. Pipe Property ID can also be modified per connected node points. Select the Temp/Press/PipeID tab on the input grids, find the column for "Pipe ID", change this setting as needed on the rows below the heading. Again, only pipe properties already defined will be listed. To add more options in the drop down, insert more Pipe Ids into the model
Notice how this modifications affects the output report.
