Problem:
The following Error message appears when running the program:
515 - FLANGE 30.02 : insufficient flange thickness (design case No. 0).
We are getting this error saying flange thickness of the flange is not sufficient, however it is a standardized flange and all the dimensions are as per standard.
How to avoid this error.
Solution:
If user wants to design the flange then calculations performed are dependent on many factors such as Gasket material, Gasket thickness, Seating stress Bolt material etc.
Considering these factors in calculations, flange may need higher thickness with standard flange dimensions.
To avoid this error, we suggest you to change the other parameters so flange thickness meet the code requirements with same thickness.
