When importing a AutoPIPE dat file into another model where both files have beams, the following beam error occurred:Why, and how to fix:
Answer:
The following has been logged: CAE-TR-11077 Insert Model : Beams connected to bends/valves are imported incorrectly. For the imported beams having empty Node i or Node j : Enter a valid Node name.
Is it possible to merge two AutoPIPE models into a single file?
Please see the following AutoPIPE help section: Help > Contents> Contents Tab> Command Reference>File Commands> Inserting a model> topic "Inserting Other AutoPIPE Models"
Note, only the current connection is connected to the exiting model. Another words, say that there are more than one pipe shared by both models being merged. Only where the model is physically inserted will it be physically connected. All the other connects between the two model must be reconnected manually.
