    03. Load Cases Are Not Included In Analysis

    Applies To
    Product(s): AutoPIPE,
    Version(s): ALL
    Area: results
Original Author: Bentley Technical Support Group

    Problem:

When running the analysis, some load cases that were added are not including in the results (i.e. no displacement, no stresses, etc..), WHY?

    Solution:

AutoPIPE V8i 09.04.xx.xx and higher had a complete over haul of the way the analysis are performed. Load cases are no longer added when selecting Analyze> Static (AutoPIPE V8i 09.03.xx.xx and lower).  These new versions added a concept called LOADSETS. This enhancement command allows the user to define multiple static analysis (analysis sets) and provide references to these results from separate analyses during post-processing.

Gone are the days of creating multiple models to run different types of scenarios, with the new LoadSets multiple scenarios can be performed in the same model.

To understand how to use this new feature, select Load> Static Analysis Sets..> and press the help button. Another great sourse of information is available under:

    Note:

If you are a new user of the new version of AutoPIPE, highly recommend that you attend an official AutoPIPE Training to pickup all the new tips and tricks. Even seasoned user will learn something new, not to mention be able to ask any and all questions. In addition, you may consider visiting some of the other WIKI sites.
