02. Download Bentley AutoPIPE software (es) - After May 2014

In May 2014, Bentley launched a new method of downloading all of Bentley's software using a web page called Software Fulfillment (imaged bellow). 

 

Accessing Software Fulfillment web page:

The Web site is accessed by using the following procedure:

Step #1: Log onto the Bentley Web Site

If you are part of the QA&R program, any installation from a downloaded file for AutoPIPE or ATS is strictly forbidden and does not constitute a valid installation or verification. All QA&R user must install the applications from the CDs received from Bentley systems QA&R manager

1. Open internet explorer web site http://selectservices.bentley.com/en-US/

A. Select "Support & Services" Tab

B. Select "Support"

C. Select “Software Downloads” 

D. Log into web site.

Note:  If you do not have a current log, in please contact your local Bentley site administrator who can assist you with the correct information and permissions.


Note: If you see the following screen:

This may happen if a user's Bentley login is missing the Software Download role. Please visit the User Profile page: https://ims.bentley.com/IMS/Profile/  Expand the Access Levels section, and verify that "Yes" appears on the Download line. 

If No appears, then please contact your Bentley onsite admin and ask to be upgraded with download ability.

If Yes appears, but you saw the image above for "Bentley I-ware / Apps", then please contact the Bentley License Team, there is a problem with your account settings for Account identification vs Account Overview on our server. Once this has been updated correctly only then you will be able to download without any problems.

Step #2: Download AutoPIPE V8i Program

Again, if you are unable to see the web page shown above, we apologize for the inconvenience, however you must use the older download method, select the following link here for instructions.

Step #3:

Select the following settings:

Product Line =  Plant Design

Brand = AutoPIPE

Generation = V8i

Release Type = Commercial

Language = Select the correct language from the available listing (English, Chinese, French, German, Japanese, Polish, Russian, Spansh), This procedure will assume English to be selected.

Step #4:

AutoPIPE is available in 3 different versions (i.e. Standard, Advances, Nuclear) and has 2 add ons (StessIso Add-on and KHK2 Add-on). These versions and add-ons are controlled by the license available in your License Management Tool. Therefore, all you need to do is download the software labeled "AutoPIPE" as shown below. The installation process will install the complete program. Again, these program features are controlled by the license:

Select the hyperlink labeled "All Downloads" under "AutoPIPE" to see a listing of available versions to download.

Locate the version number to download (most recent version is listed first and descends to lower versions of the application).

At the end of the line, to the right of the version number, select the Green box to download the application.

Note: 

1. The screen shot above may show different versions then currently available, but the steps to download are the same. Select a version to download. If you do not see check boxes next to the applications, you do not have download rights. Therefore your options to update your user access rights:

      1. Contact your Bentley On-site Admin to upgrade your user access with information on the following WIKI site
      2. Contact your Bentley Account Manager, to upgrade your user status
      3. Contact Bentley BRC (Bentley Response Center) for additional help, Who is your on-site admin or Account manager
      4. If you do have download rights, please contact the Bentley License Team, there is a problem with your account settings for Account identification vs Account Overview on our server. Once this has been updated correctly only then you will be able to download without any problems.

2. Again, you do not need to download any other software for installing AutoPIPE on your computer.

Step #5:

Read the "SELECTservices Online Legal Terms of Use". If you agree, press the “Accept” button.

The application is now available to download:

Using Internet Explorer:

A box will appear at the bottom of the screen, press the "Save" drop down listing and select "Save-As", and save the file to your desk top or other folder location. 

Note: the file name above may-not be the same, this name will mirror the version selected for download.

Using Google Chrome

A box will appear at the bottom of the screen, where the application is automatically being downloaded. press the drop down indicator on the right and select "Show in Folder" to locate the software being downloaded.

Download is complete:

After the download has been completed, run the program to start the install process.  

Note: Sometimes users are unable to download software from Bentley SELECTservices website by clicking on the link ‘Download’. Here are the steps which should help:

i. Turn off a pop-up blocker in Internet Explorer by going to Tools-> Pop-up Blocker -> Turn Off Pop-up Blocker

ii. Add www.bentley.com to Trusted Sites in IE by going to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Trusted Sites -> Sites

iii. Change a security level for this webpage to Low in IE by going to Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Trusted Sites -> Custom level… and change drop down list to Low.

Burn DVD(s) Procedure

Select the following link for a procedure to Burn a CD with the selected application that will then be mailed to your address provided:
