Task Navigation

One of the many productive attributes of OpenPlant PowerPID and MicroStation in general is the Task Navigation toolbox. Task Navigation allows for logical grouping of tools and placeable components. For OPPID this grouping pertains to process component placement: Equipment, Pipelines, Valves, and Instruments…  The Task Navigation definitions for OPPID are located in the PIDProjectSymbols.dgnlib. After opening the DGNLIB, select Workspace->Customize. The left side of this dialog contains the definitions and the right side contains what is displayed in the application. Simply select a task from the definition side and drag to either the Tasks or Main Tasks section on the right side. As soon as the drag is complete the task is displayed in the application. Use the Main Tasks to house commonly used items. This Navigation toolbox can also be used to setup workflows. For more information on using and customizing the Task Navigation toolbox, consult the online help, PowerDraft_pp.chm or search the BE Communities.
