To Avoid Crash for End Types WFL & Butt Weld Connections in Isometrics

Problem Description

There could be project requirement connect component with one ends WFL connection and other ends are butt welded.

But when we generate isometric for above assembly. Isometric may get crash. To avoid this crash refer following steps to resolve the problem.

Steps to Resolve

  1. In Bentley Class Editor, open "OpenPlant_3D.01.04 schema".

    See Path Below for default storage.
    Ex. C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\Bentley Plant V8i Projects\SAMPLE_METRIC\Config\OpenPLANT\schema

  2. Select "Weld Value Map" class.

  3. Go to Properties select "BUTT_WELD"

  4. Right click on ‘ValueNameInAutoPLANT3D’ and select Add element.



  5. Add value WFL.



  6. Remove WFL mapping from Wafer.



  7. Save the schema.

  8. Reopen AutoPLANT Modeler and generate isometric to review the result.
