Can OpenPlant Isometrics Manager create a PCF file to use with other software systems?

Yes, OpenPlant Isometrics Manager has an option to create a PCF with evey isometric that is generated. The PCF can then managed by ProjectWise similar to how the isometric drawing is handled.

Can OpenPlant Isometrics Manager file open in AutoPipe?

Yes, OpenPlant Isometrics Manager generates PCF file to get it readable in AutoPipe.

If I change a model after the isometric was produced, does the isometrics drawing get automatically updated?

No, we do not plan on providing automatic syncronization of isometric drawing data due to model changes.

We do however plan on providing consitency checks between the isometric and the modeled piping components based on design states in future versions.

Can I create isometrics directly from OpenPlant Modeler?

Yes, with latest release of OpenPlant Modeler 08.11.11.238 SS6 Isometric creation is done with in session.This allows non-piping (lower cost) project participants to produce isometrics.

Also this provides an opportunity to create piping isometrics from other plant design tool set via i-models.
