Release Announcement – Bentley PlantWise CONNECT Edition Update 2

Hi,

I am pleased to announce that the release of PlantWise CONNECT Edition Update 2 is now available for download on Select.

Some of the highlights for this release include:

Enhancements

Ratings downstream of a user-defined inline now come from the spec break and not the pipe
Tee orientation set to up unless the route is defined as non-pocket

Defects fixed

Issues when converting piping a second time with the same OpenPlant model
Reducers at pump suction nozzles are not top-flat if there are any flanges between the reducer and nozzle
PlantWise routing outside of pipeway
The placement of a secondary pipeway by bent is not working correctly when the main pipeway has offset section(s)
Using reducers on frozen routes can cause problems
Changing a frozen route can sometimes fail even though the endpoints are still the same
The Pipeway Builder should enforce a new section whenever there is a dimension change
