Release Announcement - OpenPlant CONNECT Edition Update 4

On behalf of the OpenPlant team, it is our pleasure to announce the release of the OpenPlant CONNECT Edition Update 4 products listed below. You can watch the quick overview of What’s new in this release by watching our Fireside Chat video. These products are now available live on the Bentley Software Downloads site. Under Brand, you can select OpenPlant to see the following released products.

OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition Update 4

New functionality has been added to the Consistency Manager including:

Ability to place components in the active model from within the Consistency Manager.
View options added to the main ribbon.
Ability to "Stage" all of the components in the Instances tree which have property differences between the PID document and 3D model.
- The Save button is enabled to save the "Staged" differences.
A symbol Legend has been added to the Settings tab providing definitions for the icons used in the Consistency Manager

Reports: Added three new reports and cleaned up list of reports provided out of the box

OpenPlant PID CONNECT Edition Update 4

New functionality has been added to define and display the WBS Properties (Associated Items) in a drawing.

A new interface, the Active Associated Items dialog has been added where the user can define these properties. This dialog replaces the Plant tab of the PID Document dialog where these items were previously defined.

The ability to show the "Alias" value in the drop down list for an associated item has been added.

OpenPlant Isometrics Manager CONNECT Edition Update 4

Weld Numbering: Better Weld Management and sequential weld numbering through whole sheets for a pipeline

Option to product System Iso: Expanded the possibilities to generate isos by any work breakdown element for example Unit, Service/system, Plant Area, Pipeline or as defined by user

Iso generation:

Added formatting options for displaying Skew angles
Hatching crossing part of annotation
Better orientation of standout slope annotation
Ability to Generate PartID Range Based on Component
Improved logging while iso-generation process
Enhanced option to define date format

Value Map: New UI to edit, add and import value maps in OpenPlant Modeler
Federated Login: Added support for federated login authentication while creating a workarea.
Schema Upgrade:

Added option to save the schema changes to Excel supported file format
More detailed output while upgrading and merging user changes to schemas
Several fixes to support user schema changes
Several stability and usability fixes

Schema Editor:

Added option to load any schema
Option to define units for Property (edit / create new)
UI tweaks to refine workflows

Technology Preview features:

Added option to filter for iModel list while provisioning, also, you can now type in iModel name with the need to browse.
