Sync Error OPP&ID

Hi

Any ideas what I need to do to fix this sync error, am currently running the project database on my local c drive. one suggestion that has been made to me is there might be something wrong with the View Window (viewports) if this is the case any ideas how I can fix this.

Bentley.Plant.ModelingFramework.SQLPluginAdapter - Synchronization stopped because of error: 'SplitterDistance must be between Panel1MinSize and Width - Panel2MinSize.'.

Thanks

  • I just met same problem. And I have fixed it.

    Open registry editor and go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Bentley\OpenPlantPID\Dialogs\Differencing]

    check the value of the keys, some value are overflowed. For example, these ffff8300 are too big, change them to a reasonable value, like 223. Then it will be OK.

    Left=dword:ffff8300
    Top=dword:ffff8300
    Width=dword:000000a0
    Height=dword:00000026
    WindowState=dword:00000000
    Location.X=dword:ffff8300
    Location.Y=dword:ffff8300

  • Hi,

    I have tried changing the values but the synchronization window still does not appear.  We are using SS6 on Windows 10.  After failing to open the synchronization window, we check the registry and the values revert back to the default.  Any ideas how to fix this?

    Thanks,

    Justin

    Just an update to this, we have both SS5 and SS6 installed on the machine.  We were getting the error for both version but after changing the registry key the error goes away in SS5. When we open SS6 the error returns and the default values in the key is restored.  Is there something in SS6 that would cause the key to change it's values back to the default?
