BOM or Report Generator component description is blank?

When I run a BOM for CAD or run a Report for the Report Generator the component description is coming out blank. All other fields seem to fill in correctly.

Thanks for any feedback

Tom

  • Hi Tom,
What version of AutoPlant you are using? As well what MS Office version is installed on your side? Have you upgraded you AutoPlant version or this behavior was present from beginning?
    Thanks ,
    Artiom

  • Hello Tom,

Thank you for the files. Not much, but still. Could you try to install Access Database Engine 2010 x64  ()? After installing it please check with Process Explorer  that Engines dll are loaded:

Here is a list of files that are loaded on my site:

    ACEINTL.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\1033\ACEINTL.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    ACEODBCI.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\1033\ACEODBCI.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    ACEWSTR.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\1033\ACEWSTR.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    MSOINTL.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\1033\MSOINTL.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    ACECORE.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\ACECORE.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    ACEERR.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\ACEERR.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    ACEES.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\ACEES.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    ACEODBC.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\ACEODBC.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    ACEOLEDB.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\ACEOLEDB.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    OFFICE.ODF C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\Cultures\OFFICE.ODF 14.0.4738.1000

    EXPSRV.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\EXPSRV.DLL 6.1.0.1590

    MSO.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\MSO.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    MSORES.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\MSORES.DLL 14.0.4760.1000

    VBAJET32.DLL C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\OFFICE14\VBAJET32.DLL 6.0.1.1590

In case they will still will not load. It could be that AutoPlant reinstall will be required. Below is recommended method of reinstalling Auto Plant:

Uninstall existing AutoPLANT V8i applications.Remove below mentioned folder. Don't forget to make backup of folders in case you are using any system based customization. .

    Windows 7 (64 bit)

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\Plant V8i\

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Bentley Shared\Plant V8i\

    C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\

As well could you please send me same logs as for acad.exe process for BPCom32Host.exe and BPCom32Domain.exe

Looking forward to hearing from you.

  • Atriom,

Receive this message when trying to install AccessDatabaseEngine_x64

I believe I have seen this issue in the past as stated in message the AccessDatabaseEngine_x64 has to be loaded first before Office products.

I don't have access to Office install files. Would have to have IT re- install it again.

FYI in the up coming weeks IT here is going to be pushing out Office 365 will we run into this same issue?

Should we put this issue on hold until the new Office 365 is installed?

Thanks for all your help on this matter.

    Tom

  • Hi Tom,
As I know it should be possible to install AccessDatabaseEngine_x64 from command line using silent install. Unfortunately, not sure how it will work.
As for Office 365, unfortunately, none of current AutoPlant versions are supported with Office 365. The latest AutoPlant SS7 release supports MS Office 2010 and 2013. It could be that AutoPlant will not work with Office 365.
    Kind Regards,
    Artiom

  • Artiom,

I uninstall AutoPLANT deleted the folders you mention in your post on Fri, Jul 3 2015 6:06 AM then ran a regcleaner tool and rebooted. Reinstalled and yes we have success I am able to run a report again. Not sure what the culprit was causing the issue but at least it is cured now.

Thanks for your help on this matter.
