We place out-of-spec components in a seperated spec database file. However, we don't want to see spec break in ISO between regular spec and oos spec. I tried to use string replace function on IE_SPEC attribute, but it did not work and also caused errors while generating ISO. How can I write an expression for spec value?
Thanks,
Maggie
Hello Maggie,
Based on Frank's comment, you could also check Similar link for your use.

Hi Frank and Rahul,
IE_ExcludeSpecBreak option only work partially on my case. A component connecting two different spec in many case is OOS item. We want to two spec break in below image merget to one like CG11 | BS11, but IE_ExcludeSpecBreak option will remove both spec break. In addition, we have a OOS spec database for each normal spec. I think a string function is a better option if it is available.
HI Maggie, It's wonderful functions , do you have working example of String.Replace function ??Regards,Vivek
