I am trying to show valve operator spindle direction, but I cannot find the setting. I tried to enable valve operator label, but it only shows operator name, like "HAND_WHEEL" (expecting SPINDLE NORTH or SPINDLE UP, etc) . How and where can I do the setting?
Thanks,
Maggie
Hello Maggie,
Are you trying it with angle 90, 180 etc?. For angles other than 90, 180, you can get the orientation automatically. Please give a try on it. See image below.
You could also use user labels to get the Spindle word along with it, but only with non planar directions. See below settings:
To get the same on standard orientation like 90, 180 etc, you may create a Service request. We will take this with development guys.

Hi,
This is still to be implemented but meanwhile you can refer below link as a workaround.
http://communities.bentley.com/products/plant/design___engineering/w/plant_design_and_engineering__wiki/24510.to-display-right-angle-operator-direction-with-spindle-in-openplant-isometrics-manager
Hope this helps!

With the Link suggested will only works with OpenPlant Modeler and OpenPlant Isometrics Manager. In context with AutoPLANT Modeler and OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, I would suggest you to create a service Request to log this for same query. This will further gets evaluated by development team and would help us to prioritize the content.
Hello Ray,
In OpenPlant Modeler - OpenPlant Isometrics Manager, with current release it can be managed using Component Tag attribute IE_OPDIR. See image below.
This is further controlled under User labels Option. See image below.
See results in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager:
However with version 08.11.09.440, You wont find this attribute. Hence you need to customize schema by creating a property with value to be used as SPINDLE: on Valve operating class and to be used on valve class to fetch the same information. See below workaround to get the information as desired.
