I have been tasked with creating one object over-top of another, where the desired effect is to have the outer object semi-transparent, while the inner object is not. This would be equivalent to seeing through insulation when the model is viewed in (for example) Navisworks.
AutoCAD layers do have the transparency property. Is there a means of modifying this layer property through the ebs. I cannot find any instance in AP where this is being done. I can do this with an external utility, but would prefer to stay within the AP environment with this task.
Any direction would be much appreciated.
