AutoPLANT OPIM Cut List multiple columns (Weld List same thing)

What modifications are required to the reports.def file to make the CUT LIST appear in two or more columns

I would like to have two columns of 6 rows to make up the CUT LIST.

Old SS4 (ISOGEN) version would have the following

CUT-LIST-OVERFLOW YES
MAXIMUM-COLUMNS 2
MAXIMUM-ROWS 6

Thanks

Ray

  • Hello Ray,

Report.def file allow you to customize BOM report as desired. By Default 6 columns you will get in this file. You may comment the undesired column through a "#' sign or you may delete the column and write your own attribute you want to show here. See image below for a quick reference.

However Rows populates based on entries or grouping done based on CUTID. You may change the group from CUTID to other based on which you want to populate in list.

See one wiki below for your reference about sorting.

Hope this helps! You may expect other expert comments relative to ISOGEN context.

  • Hi Rahul,

Sorry I have not explained myself well here, what I need is to have the ability to set how many rows before a new table continuation for CUT_LIST.

In AutoPLANT SS4 (ISOGEN) the following lines would return the table below.

    CUT-LIST-CONTROLS
    TABLE-LAYOUT VERTICAL
    VERTICAL-TABLE-DIRECTION DOWN
    CUT-LIST-OVERFLOW YES
    HORIZONTAL-SPACING 86
    MAXIMUM-COLUMNS 2
    MAXIMUM-ROWS 4

Horizontal spacing was the distance between tables
Max columns being maximum number of whole table columns (not columns within the table)
Max rows would be the number of rows before the next whole table was produced

I need to reproduce this in OPIM (AutoPLANT), currently I can only produce a list that looks like this

  • Hello Ray,

Thanks for details explanation. This is loud and clear now. I believe you wont get any similar settings to organize the list by defining rows and column, exceeding which will create a new table adjacent to it in current version.

I would suggest you to please create a Service Request to get it evaluated by development team.
