Questions about OpenPlant PID

Hello, 

We 've got the following questions on Openplant PID software. 

1. Can it do I/O assignment for field instruments and final control element?
2. Can it generate reports to instrument index and DCS I/O list?
3. If the user wants to control philosophy, can it make Mathematical formula?
4. Can it import PDF.etc. files ? what are the specifications?

    It would be helpful if you could identify yourself.

    In response to your questions see below.

    1. OpenPlant PID does store Control/Input for related instruments. This is currently not stored in the database.

    2. OpenPlant PID does have the ability to produce reports in the drawing and in a grid interface. The preferred method is via the Plant Project Database and the DataManager application that has a reporting mechanism for creating all sorts of reports based on the data stored in the database for each component as well as related components.

    3. A property on a component can be defined using input from other properties on the component or related to the component. The expression used can utilize the .NET System.math functions.

    4. Links to components can be created in the PID design file. These links do support PDF files. This information can be accessed from inside of OpenPlant PID and viewed. Other document formats are supported as well.
