I have taken our standard title block and have imported it into OpenPlant PID V8i SS5. How do I go about taking all of our existing fields for information and make them active in OPPID. When I go into tag sets it appears that it does recognize the fields but I need to know how to "activate" them so I have the ability to edit them. This is our first run with setting up our title blocks and would like to get these done, I believe we currently have around 5.
Hi Jeremy, Please refer to the wiki link below: http://communities.bentley.com/products/plant/design___engineering/w/plant_design_and_engineering__wiki/18956.how-to-add-custom-border-in-oppid
You need to add the corresponding properties in the schema which will be mapped with tags in your border. Please refer to the steps given in "Add a new class for the custom border using Component Manager tool" section of the wiki article. Hope this helps! Regards, Harpreet
Thanks Harpreet this will work just fine. I do have another question though, I noticed that it does recognize the fields that I brought in from AutoCAD when I made the dgn file. Should I remove the (TITLEBLOCK) field and just use what OPPID recognized from my file or would it be better to remove my information and rebuild the (TITLEBLOCK) field. It does actually capture 3 different tag fields that are from my original file .
