I followed this wiki: http://communities.bentley.com/products/plant/design___engineering/w/plant_design_and_engineering__wiki/24621.how-to-assign-fieldfit-weld-allowances-or-other-weld-types-for-bom-cut-list-in-openplant-isometrics-manager
But it still isn't adding the additional material to the BOM or the cut length reports on my iso.
Hi Karl,
In order to double check that you have added the settings in the correct location
- open any isometric created
- from the Microstation menubar select Workspace > Configuration
- check that the setting you made shows up (here I've added WA_FIELD_FIT)
The only situation I've seen where the allowance isn't soon in the BOMis when 2 pipes connect and the isometric splits in that location

Frank
Fair enough :). lets do a check now for the correct type. If you use the Show Tag Tool on the weld of interest (in DGN mode) look at the following properties:
TYPE
It should list FIELD_FIT. If it is something else then you can add it to style.cfg in the same way. If You're still having issue you can attach the intermediate file for the isometric and the style.cfg of interest
Regards.
