Hi everone,
i had see that different gauge typs are in the OPM schemas, but i can't find a way to place this different gauge types im OpenPlant Modeler.
The only gauges i find in OPM are the "generic gauges"
The following i can find in the schemas:
Hi Markus,
Yes at the moment Generic gauges are present in the default spec. If you add the records for other Gauge classes in the spec, you can place them using the same icon in OpenPlant Modeler.
Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.
Regards,Harpreet
This dont work. I had try to define "flow gauges" in my spec, but if i use the EC_Class_Name "FLOW_GAUGE" like i find it in the schemas, they aren't work with the "generic gauge" button.
i had try the command: mechaddin place FLOW_GAUGE dsc=piping but this dont work.
If i use the command, then i get this error and OPM exit with error.
Hello Markus,
I have checked the case and getting correct results with similar instruction like explained by Harpreet, Addtionally you need to override "Creation attribute" Custom attribute present under GAUGE class.
See below steps
I Hope it helps here.

sry i had say this more clear i dont want different graphics in OPM i want difference symbols on the isometric, and with the solution from Kumar i had difference classes with difference symbols in the isometric.
Thanks all, i rly like this forum.
Thanks to confirm Markus,
I should have written that. As Gaurav Mentioned, sometimes for any sub classes if you need different graphical symbol (with different ports etc), then component scripting part required if it is not available. You can request it from Bentley Professional Services team to do it for you.
We will try to document it to make it available for others.
Have i any option to integrate the IE_Divice_Type Code and the Number of the gauges in the graphic like this :
So i dont want the Tag Name and the number not as Label, i want it integrate direct in the symbol of the gauges.
Yes you can do it. Instrument cell is present inside the template MISC.DGN. Where you can modify the changes. See below wiki for reference. http://communities.bentley.com/products/plant/design___engineering/w/plant_design_and_engineering__wiki/27950.how-to-use-custom-cell-as-user-labels-for-instrument-symbol
I hope it helps!

Please check below wiki for details. Normally it will not affect unless you use this PCF file for your work. Below explanation helps to solve the matter.
