It seems there is a limitation on size when doing tapping. When I have larger different on tapping sizes (such as 2"x1"), OPIM has no problem, but when tapping sizes different is less or equal to 1/2" (such as 2"x1+1/2" or 1"x3/4"), OPIM failed.
Is some setting/switch controlling this sizes limitation/difference?
And here is how to reproduce the issue:
1. place a 2" flange
2. connect flange with a flange blind
3. tap on flange blind with size 1+1/2"
4. place a plug on the tap point
5. run OPIM and it failed with message "ERROR[0]: Tap point on component can not be associated with component segment"
6. Repeat above step with 1" tap point and 1" plug, OPIM is a success.
Thanks,
Maggie
Hello Maggie,
Could you please update us which OpenPlant Isometrics Manager and which OpenPlant or AutoPLANT Modeler versions you are using.
For OpenPlant Modeler there is few wiki articles about how to place Tap port on a blind flange correctly.

I have tested same scenario on my side what I can reproduce this issue with following plug where no rating.
For other plugs I can generate isometrics without any error.
Are you reproduced this issue same plug which I have shown in above image?
Looking forward to your reply.
