OPIM User Labels - Number how to add padding

In OPIM, a User Label requires to have Number as part of the Text, this required to be 3 digits long, example 003, 023, 230

The issue is if there is a leading 0's they are dropped when the ISO is produced, (3, 23, 230), I'm not sure where this is being done, but how can I force it to have leading 0's or padding for the Number field.

Example below

Name - Instrument Label

Include - EC_Class=Relief_Valve|Gauge|Flow_Meter

Exclude - EC_Class=Flow_Orifice_Plate

Text - $(DEVICE_TYPE_CODE)$$(SYSTEM)$(NUMBER)

Type- TAG

Cell Name - INSBUB

Flags -

Thanks

  • Hello Ray,

I have reproduced your situation with Older OpenPlant Isometric Manager version and found a Defect Report 157233, which is already fixed in our latest OpenPlant Isometric manager SS6 version. I would recommend you to upgrade OpenPlant Isometrics Manager version and you will have NUMBER with leading zeros in generated Isometrics model same as in OpenPlant or AutoPLANT.

As well I have found a possible solution for this situation and detail workaround posted in our Bentley Communities:
    http://communities.bentley.com/products/plant/design___engineering/w/plant_design_and_engineering__wiki/18489.how-to-modify-valve-tag

Please let me know if you have any further questions or mark this thread as answered if this suggestion will help you with your requirement.
