I have downloaded Object Enabler Select Series 8. I am having trouble getting the objects from AutoPLANT to come up on AutoCAD 2016. Is there anyone who can give a step by step on how to make those visible.

You can download correct Object Enabler for 2016 from below link. You need to login into Communities then you will be able to download it.

All installation packages are compressed and they contain simple setup.exe file for Object Enabler installation

I cant answer how exactly this installation applies to AutoCAD, but I definitely know how AutoPLANT components looks in AutoCAD, when no Object enabler is installed:
Install required Object Enabler and try to open any in AutoPLANT created DWG model. After installation all AutoPLANT components are showed correctly.
