Is there an integration possible between Openplant PID & SAP?

We are preparing a business solution for one of our clients. They use SAP to store engineering and asset data. I am looking at a way to integrate the existing SAP data in Openplant PID. Preferably with a "live" link.

Is that possible?

Kind regards.

  • Good morning Rob, Abbas,

I have got your coordinates from one of your colleagues.

A few of my prospects are looking at OpenPlant PID as a business solution. Key issue there is the possible live integration of SAP data in OpenPlant.

To give you an idea of a question:
    • We want to give our operators in the field a tablet to view the PID’s. They need to be able to identify the components they see on the PID and query OpenPlant for data about that component. The data must come from SAP that holds the technical data.
    • SAP is out lead data manager throughout the lifecycle of a component. The PID should reflect that data, at any stage.

Is there anything possible in that direction?

    Kind regards.
    Met vriendelijke groeten.
