Hi,Is there any way to place supports in a referenced piping model file using OpenPlant Modeler. Right now, only flexibility is to place those supports in active piping model file. How can I place supports on a referenced piping model file? Upon placement, OpenPlant Modeler pop up message in message box as "cannot place on a component referred from an attached file". But in OpenPlant Support Engineering we can place supports on a referenced model file. Is there any variable that allows to place support in a referenced model file using OpenPlant Modeler.Thanks for your attention.Regards | Deepak Singh

Can you please attach image of error you are pointing to? Also provide some steps for it.
Using reference piping to place support will not aid any association and hence no support get reflected in OpenPlant Isometrics Manager.
However we would like to recommend to use OpenPlant Support Engineering to cater such feature.

We have the same problem. We are not using "OpenPlant Support Engineering" in this project, but typical we have multiple disiplinens, so the support engineer need add pipe supports to pipe designen, but the pipe designer is working in the piping file. In this senario the approced metode with using Reference files do not work. Is there a solution to this problem ?
