If an inline component from the instrument module (i.e. orifice flange set) is inserted in a line, OPIM will separate the material after the orifice flange from other identical material. This material should be grouped as my BOM grouping is set to PARTID in the REPORT.DEF file. Please see report.def file and iso attached.

Could you please check following variable in style.cfg file, located on project location.
ex: C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Plant V8i\Bentley Plant V8i Projects\SAMPLE_MMETRIC\Config\OpenPlant\Isometrics\styles\As-Built\config
IE_LoosePipeToField = 0 IE_LooseFittingToField = 0
Set this variable to "0" if it is set to 1.
