Hello All,
We have both PFD and PID drawings in PW, they share same MWS. I need to set different database for each type of drawings. I have tried to set them in PCF files, but failed. The only difference between PID and PFD is their folder. Something like these:
%if $(_DGNDIR) == "pw://XXX/PID/" AP_PROJECT_ROOT=//PID/DataManager/ AP_PROJECT_ID=0001 PLANT_PROJECT_WORKOFFLINE=0 %endif %if $(_DGNDIR) == "pw://XXX/PFD/" AP_PROJECT_ROOT=//PFD/DataManager/ AP_PROJECT_ID=0001 PLANT_PROJECT_WORKOFFLINE=0 %endif
Can anyone help? Thanks a lot!

I have both PFD and PID drawings in same project, and they will use same MWS. I don't want PFD data interfere with PID data, so I'd like to let them pointing to different database. Is it possible? Thanks a lot!
Dear Changsong Ling,
The MS_DEF variable is used to define the default location of the projects DGN files. You can point this variable to a location where you have kept both folder for PID & PFD.
Also, you can refer below WIKI where all variable ate listed with there function.

Hi Changsong,
I suggest you create separate project to define different database for PFD and PID.
Have you tried? I don't think it can differentiate PFD/PID drawings.
