Hi Everyone,
In our project we have configured design states to use specific isometric styles.
When using In Session Isometric extraction the application does not automatically update the iso style based on the design state as we have defined.
When using OPIM the iso style is successfully set as defined in the design states.
Is this a known limitation when using In Session isometrics or have I configured something incorrectly?
Thanks for all your help,
Dave
Hello David,
You need to set variable (OPM_OPIM_ECXML_EXPORT_STYLE= Style) in Project configuration file. Please have a look in below FAQ section to define style for in session generation of isometrics.

Kindly confirm if you are using the same.

Hi Rahul,
Thanks for the quick response. The variable mentioned hardcodes the iso style where as what we are retying to accomplish is setting the iso style automatically based on design state as with stand alone OPIM.
Thanks!
Hi David,
Please can you provide screenshot where you are putting Iso-style expression inside Design state. So that we can test it at our end.

Hi Abhilash,
I configure this within OPIM, screen shot below....
We then assign a DESIGN_STATE to the isosheets.
I tested your concern and found this as Defect, while assigning Iso-style by Design States in OpenPlant Isometric Manager and generating In-session isometric, Software didn't Pick correct Style.
As workaround, to switch to different isometric style you need to add variable in Project PCF file or Configuration Block.
(OPM_OPIM_ECXML_EXPORT_STYLE= Style).
Please raise service request to get this defect logged in our system, don't forget to attach this community link for reference.
Hope this helps.
