Is there a command within OpenPlant Modeler that will allow a user to modify more than one component at the same time?
Case in point, if we route piping with tagged items such as valves, then copy the piping to a different location, we would need to change the valve numbers.
The only way now to modify components is to right-click and choose Modify Component, or to double-click on the item.
If you select more than one item, you no longer see the Modify Component task.
Is it possible for use to create a command that will show all of the tagged components at the same time so they can be renamed without having to manually rename each one?

Hello Richard,
Some not tested ideas for you:
1. If you know MVBA, it should not be difficult to create some codes to scan all components, and revise the properties accordingly. Same result as revise them manually.
2. If database available, flag those components, locate them in database table, revise the value in database, sync from database to model.
3. if you want to revise some properties on multiple components in OPM, select them and open Element Information, some properties can be revised together. But they can be revised to same value only, no way to different value. And only some "unimportant" properties only, those important properties are not allowed to revise.
Good luck to you!
Depends on how your valve tag is set up, you might want to have a read of the below article:
https://communities.bentley.com/products/plant/w/plant_design_and_engineering__wiki/24689/to-assign-shop-field-value-to-components-present-in-openplant-modeler
It's not a straight forward process, but for now it provides a way in Openplant to modify multiple components in one go.
Edit: fixed link to OPM wiki rather than OPPID
