Copy OPM model with isometrics

I have read through the article on copying 3D components from one model to another. (The comments section doesn't work for me so I'm asking my question here.)

I can easily follow this guide to copy components. However, what happens when you copy piping that has already been assigned to isometrics?

In the tests that I've run, all the piping and pipeline numbers will copy from one model to another, but the new model doesn't show any of the isometrics from the original model.

Yes, it saves time to copy the model, but the user now has to go in and re-create all the isometrics. If they didn't use the isometric break note and auto generate the isometrics, they would have to do it all by hand again.

Is there a setting that keeps isometric drawings from being copied between models or is the program hard coded not to copy isometrics?
