I installed OPIM 10.01.00.23 before installing AutoPLANT Modeler 08.11.14.124 as recommended in the "known issues" section of the OPIM ReadMe. These are installed on Windows 10.
While I don't get the "AutoPLANT connection failed" message I do still have problems with BPCom32Domain crashing. After I close either the Isometric Style Update window or the Isometric Style Config window that were opened via Project Administrator I get two "BPCom32Domain has stopped working" messages. I also get the same messages when closing the OPIM interface after generating an iso. Running BPCom32Host elevated doesn't seem to help. Are there any workarounds for this?

Was there a resolution to this? We are having the same problem.
Hi Jonathan,
Bentley support just told me that it appears to them that AutoPLANT Modeler works as normal, just that the dialog pops up. Despite that I will not be deploying this version as it will result in lots of trouble reports from our users. They didn't give a resolution to the problem and logged it as a defect report.

Marc
We're having this issue since 2 years now. I can't ask drafters to click on the error message each time they are closing a 3D model. It just doesn't make sense. We've created a test environment just for Bentley so they could troubleshoot the problem that appears, Bentley said, to be a problem on our side but now I see that we're not the only one. We're stuck with AutoPLANT SS7/AutoCAD 2016 since then.
Good luck!

Are you using a 10.xx.xx.xx version of OPIM? We ended up switching to OPIM 08.11.11.294. The problem seems to arise from the Connection Client that's installed by OPIM Connect Edition not being fully compatible with the 08.xx.xx.xx version of AutoPLANT. Install OPIM before AutoPLANT as it suggests in the "known issues" section. We don't get the BPCom32Domain crash anymore after the switch.
