I'm curious if Bentley has a platform that is Openplant/Microstation compatible. I am essentially looking for a solution that is comparable to InTools (Intergraph) but can also produce 3D models and 2D drawings for both instrumentation and electrical in a Petroleum Refinery. I would also need to store/manage/produce equipment/instrument/valve datasheets. I originally thought that Bentley Instrumentation & Wiring was the correct software but I found some documentation that shows that it is AutoPlant dependent.

Hi T. I'm told Siemens COMOS EI&C and Bentley Raceway and Cable Management (BRCM) might be a solution for you.
Thanks Matt. It seems like we might have to go with Intools as I'm not seeing much of a Bentley Solution. I will let our people know about COMOS as an option to look into as well.
