I'm having issues getting isos out of Isosheet Manager and OPIM. No error alerts.
Where exactly does OPIM get it's cfg variables from? Is it simply using "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\OpenPlantIsometricsManager V8i\OpenPlantIsometricsManager\Bentley.Isometrics.App.exe"?
Thanks,
Hello Bear,
Can you please provide some more details for your concern.

In OPM, what app is being used to create the isos and where does it get it's configs from. From what I've tested, it doesn't use the variables set in OPM. I'm having issues getting isos out of Isosheet Manager, but I'm not getting any error alerts. Just nothing showing up in OPIM and I'm finding it hard to see where things are coming from. All accessed from OPM.
hello Bear,OPM uses OpenPlant Isometrics Manager (OPIM) to produce isos.In OPM you use Pipeline Manager to create isos sheets (automatically). When you click to process the isos, OPM exports modeldata to an exchange folder: c:\Users\<name>\AppData\Local\Bentley\OPIM\OPMExport\This folder contains a runfile specifying the iso style and other necessary parameters.OPIM runs in the same configuration tree as OPM.OPM kicks-off OPIM as child process.OPIM starts with reading the product configuration from:C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\IsometricsManager\config\After that it reads the project configuration from:C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Workspaces\WorkSpace\WorkSets\<project name>\Standards\OpenPlant\Isometrics\Regards,Klaas
Thanks for that Klaas. Appreciate the reply as it has been hard to get this information. The reason for asking is that I'm not seeing OPIM configs update as they change or are set in OPM. Almost as if it ignores them and only uses what is set by a few config files of it's own. I'll do a bit more digging.
Klaas, the other issue, as stated in the title, is that I'm using V8i SS6. Is this different??
