BRCM, xml for cable list attributes

Hi Philipp,

In BRCM while importing a Cable List, cable properties as shown in the image below get imported from a .xls file.



The location of the xml file can be seen as in the below image. 



The location may differ depending on the project that you are in. Although you can open the .xml file, if you were to add any properties in the .xml file as well as the corresponding .xls file the newly added properties will not be reflected on the cables as the Properties for the cables are hard coded.

Can you elaborate what exactly do you wish to achieve by finding out which .xml file stores the information?

I need this information so we see which information our new cable list format has to deliver, in order to guarantee a smooth import into BRCM.
