I have 3D models that were created via OPM V8i and I need to use them with OPM Connect. When I open the V8i models the specs are gone for existing piping new and old. I need to be able to use the same pipe specs for these models using Connect.

Thanks for your reply. I guess I don't know how to upgrade the WorkSpace/WorkSet from OpenPlant Modeler v8i to OpenPlant Modeler CE. This could very well solve the problem. I guess we should start with that.

RE: Migrating from OpenPlant Modeler V8i to OpenPlant Modeler Connect pipe specs

Hi Mike,

Can you provide some details on how you are using the files in OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT Edition.

Have you upgraded the WorkSpace/WorkSet from OpenPlant Modeler v8i to OpenPlant Modeler CE?

Can you provide some insights that at which stage you are unable to use the pipe specs i.e. we would like to know if the existing components in the model are losing spec information or if the Standard Preferences cannot fetch the specifications or if there is any other error?

If you provide some image regarding this requirement we could have a broader understanding of the issue. Would appreciate a quick update.

TIA.
