Hi,
In the help file, it says you can "specify the sort order". However, in the dialog, you can only select which fields are used for sorting. There's no where to select the sort order for either selected fields or the value (ascending vs descending".

so in effect, you can only sort multiple columns in ascending order and in alphabetical order of the columns name. (in your example, it will be sort by EC_classname col then Manu_fact col and so on, in ascending order). For descending, the interface only sort by 1 field, the 1 that clicked on. Is that correct?
Yes Tuan, when you click on the small blank space it will sort that particular column and when you click that again it will get to the original sorted way.
Thanks Harshavardhan. That's how the software behaves. But that behaviour isn't what is described in the help file:
So either there's a bug in the software, or the help file is wrong. Either way, something needs to be fixed.
Thanks Tuan for the feedback.
If you think it can enhanced in some way or seems like some glitch, I would request you to raise a service request for this concern and we shall report to development.
