on my Window 10 workstation I've installed OPM CE update 9 and OPPA CE update 8. Launching OPPA it crash. I've tried to reinstall all CE programs, cleaning first all the files from Appdata, program files, and from Program data, but it seem not to have worked. I've also clean manually the registry, but nothing. The problem seems to be related to the OPM configuration files parsing: in fact if I remove the cfg files under C:\ProgramData\Bentley\OpenPlant CONNECT Edition\Configuration\Workspaces the program starts well but obviously I'm not able to see the any workspace. Looking in the events registry, the problem is an unhandled exception in Bentley.DgnPlatform.MacroConfigurationAdmin.DefineMacro.
The previous OPPA product update 8 version remains in hang as I wrote here.

Taken Up on another forum query.
after further investigations, removing highlighted files as in the attached image, the OPPA works well, so I think the problem is near them !!! I'm going crazy ;-)).
