I'm getting this happen in a few places. I've tried redoing the connection spheres and nothing seems to work.
The weld note only seems to come out in some locations. Is there any restriction on pipe length to make this happen?
Weld symbol for FFW weld comes out fine, only note effected.
Any suggestions welcome.
Hello Sean,
Hope you are doing well mate.As per you've stated, you are finding this FFW note issue only at few places and with your reference screenshot I can see there is too much going on with the labels. The Dev has worked quite a bit on OPIM whitespace management for CONNECT Edition but for V8i, I would recommend you to see if there is a provision to reduce unnecessary labels so as to make this work. With your provided information, this seems to be because of too many labels at particular areas.Regards,Soham Mhaskar.
Hey Soham, struggling on mate. Trying to lock away our issues so I can some to Connect, but still got a bit to go.
I would have though this situation above would have been cleaner than the others to get the label in. I gather there isn't a setting to tweak with this then? Unfortunately this is a bit of a special case with the short section of pipe and lap flanges. Makes for a busy iso and due to some client restrictions for this project I can't split the iso's.
Hi Bear,
FFW labels (as almost all labels) are user labels. Please cross-check the include/exclude rules with the weld data to see if there's a problem. Labels are always placed no matter what space is left. Labels are not placed due to include/exclude rules or if the user label content is the empty string
Regards, Frank
Thanks for the feedback Frank. I'll check again, but have been through the user labels and couldn't see anything glaringly wrong. I've even deleted the connection, recreated them and then reapplied the FFW option.
More digging.
Thanks,
Frank, the other issue I found strange is that it's finding the information to place the FFW indicator cell, just no label.
