[OPM V8i SS6] Automate PSDS migration process

Hi,

is it possible to automate the OpenPlant PSDS Migrate tool (Upgrade and Convert)?

For example, can I use Batch Process to migrate a set of DGN files? Does this require some user interaction?

What about logs? There's no column with the DGN file name for example...

Any ideas?

    Thanks for posting your query to Bentley Plant forum

    What is the prime requirement for this conversion process? Do you want to convert PSDS model to OpenPlant Modeler V8i then OpenPlant Modeler CONNECT?

    Regarding automation, I believe it is possible to automate this process. However if a model file conversion has any sort of error then it wont convert and we need to inspect that separately.

    You are right, the requirement is to convert PSDS models to OPM CE, through OPM V8i SS6 migration process.

    1) should I use a batch process with key-in? Is there anything better (I heard something about ProjectWise Automation if it is applicable)

    2) can I get better logs? The only log file I see is in %LocalAppData%\Bentley\Logs 

    Here you can find some rows of OpenplantModeler.log. As you can see there's no column with file name. Is there something I can change in configuration to get better info?
