Follow the step of new heat traced pipeline in PID V8i version, open pidprojectsymbols.dgnlib file in PID up9 of CE , customize cannot be edited；As shown below：

You can edit via Customize ribbons tool in CONNECT.. for more detail steps please refer following wiki and videos as well.
